When the Kubinka Tank Museum opened in 1972, Hangar 7 was intended for armored vehicles of all countries of the world, except Nazi Germany, Great Britain and the USA. This room housed the only unique collection of Japanese armored vehicles from the Second World War. These tanks, in various configurations, on pantones or rails, were captured as trophies in Manchuria in 1945 on the battlefields. There are still single examples of Japanese tanks in the world, for example in the Yasukuni War Shrine in Tokyo or in the countries of Southeast Asia. Hungarian tanks from the Second World War were also found in the hangar, which are not found in any museum in the world, including Saumur in the Loire Valley. France in Hangar N7 was represented by the first Soviet tank Renault FT-17, as well as armored vehicles of pre- and post-war production. Also worth noting are armored vehicles from Italy, Poland and even China.
