Kubinka Tank Museum Hall N4 Guide and Virtual Tour

When the Kubinka Tank Museum opened in 1972, Pavilion N4 was built for Soviet armored vehicles, armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles, both serial and experimental. There were many armored vehicles from the Second World War and famous battles like the Battle of Moscow, the Battle of Stalingrad and the Kursk Bulge. It is for this reason that the hangar underwent a lot of changes during the formation of Patriot Park and lost a large number of interesting exhibits. To fill empty spaces, exhibits from other locations were temporarily moved to this hangar, disrupting the historical and engineering sequence of development of armored vehicles. Below we provide views of the hangar and a list of exhibits for the current state, as well as for the period until 2015.

History of the pavilion N 4. Virtual tour on the tank museum 1972-2014
“Before the pavilion № 4 on the pedestal there is an exact copy of the armored car from which VI Lenin arrived at the Finland Station (by the way, despite the assurances of some skeptics with aplomb assuring that there was no armored car, there was not one but two!).
Pavilion No 4 will surprise you with the first Russian* armored vehicles and armored personnel carriers, unique infantry combat vehicles by combining combat capabilities, firepower unmatched in the world. Infantry fighting vehicles, scorched by the flames of the war in Afghanistan, in Chechnya .. ” (colonel Boris Ozerov)
