Magnificent view of the Meribel valley from the mountain. A mountain river and a bridge across it are visible. In summer it is very popular hiking and cycling.
Well, if the budget allows, they can even order a helicopter tour. The village is visible below. Forest, fir trees and slopes of mountains in the snow. The weather is always great here. In the area of the three valleys – Courchevel – Meribel – Menuire, the cable car system is very well developed. The French call them “téléphérique”. How to get there, transfert from RR & airport to hotel
Most tourists arrive here from the Geneva airport and order a transfer by car with an English-speaking driver. The journey takes about 2 hours past valleys and mountains with magnificent scenery. The driver-guide will tell you about local attractions, the latest rumors and gossip 🙂 from the local elite party, and also advise what else you can see in the area.
You can also get here by public transport, but without knowing French it’s hard. Train or bus to Chambery, then train to Albertville and then change to a local bus.
